| Abstract: | - Research - Current Teaching and Learning Learning Alternatives The Sunday Mail (19/10/03) included an interesting article mistitled "Schools 'out of date'".
- It outlines a program at Eastern Fleurieu R-12 School which has helped lift Year 12 completion rates from 39% to 64% - and all within the SACE!
- Another recent publication with significant implications for our Recognition policy is 'Learning Alternatives', the latest Paper from the Dusseldorp Skills Forum.
- If we can now have 'special' senior schools for gifted young people in the arts and in sports why not open access to such alternative learning environments to younger people who are in fact coping with adult responsibilities in their early teens?
