| Abstract: | - Project Targets Friendship Skills Most of us develop the skills of friendship without much conscious thought.
- Antonio Catholic School, Morphett Vale; St Francis School, Lockleys and Catherine McCauley School, Craigmore have been involved in the pilot of the Socially Speaking program.
- The program has focused on communication and conversation skills, the skills needed to make and keep friends, and practical experience in interacting with people in various social situations.
- Socially Speaking is a joint pilot project between Behaviour Education, and Special Education and is based on the pragmatic social skills program, Socially Speaking by Alison Schroeder, adapted to explicitly teach friendship skills in an inclusive classroom setting. ...
